Sounds by Sean "The RIMBoy"

The Friends montage. I gathered a bunch of somewhat good calls from one of their Spring of 1997 show, and set it to Dionne Warwick's "That's What Friends Are For". Features Pepe, Grundy Gus, Chattanooga Chester, Pittsburg Paul, Will, and some other wacky stuff. There is really not too much difference between high bandwith and low bandwith except for size, go high if you have just a little extra time.
Friends, high bandwidth (wav file)
Friends, low bandwidth (real audio)

Pepe from the Creep Show. Really, it is me, doing a somewhat good imitation of Pepe. Good enough to fool the crew.
Pepe (real audio)

Shelbyville Guy getting strip searched by Miles and Dave. Really, he did call and tell Miles and Dave about getting searched by the Shelbyville Police Dept, and told it in such a way that I could turn around and make it seem like Miles and Dave did it.
Friends, low bandwidth (real audio)

YES! Fresh from the vaults! More MLND Sounds!

Yes folks! The rumors you've been hearing are true! Sean "The RIMBoy" has unearthed some rare recordings of the MLND show in full action! And for a limited time you too can take advantage of this once in a lifetime offer to hear WHAT YOU'VE BEEN MISSING! This is only the tip of the iceberg of the MLND work, but is of such high quality no expense was spared in its reproduction. We think you'll agree that it's been worth the wait. Bookmark this page today because there's no tellin when more MLND sounds will appear!

Grundy Gus and Jake talk about fishing and a whole bunch of other stuff. Miles is in the other room (most likely the WMTS office) doing something (most likely sending emails). As a result, this rare footage is Sideshow Mike, Matt the Prodman and Naked Dave discussing the finer points of fishing and the general suckiness of this evenings show (so what else is new). It's a whopping 7.7 megs of 128k mono mp3 goodness. We think you'll think it's worth the weight!

The MLND Disclaimer. Because we're church going people, RIMBoy.com left off the naughty word the caller that was just hung up on said, on the air. Matt the Prodman proceeds (besides later doing a bad Miles impression) to give the standard disclaimer all listeners came to know and love. However, Sideshow Mike insisted that they play the "professional" version that was the staple of the show. SPECIAL BONUS! THAT'S RIGHT folks! The next caller asks to hear, you guessed it, 613! What a bargain! This download is only 876k of 128k mono mp3 goodness. We think you'll think it's worth the weight!

Chattanooga Chester. The MLND show spawned many nicknames for many people. Often the names came from the areas callers were from, ie, Grundy Gus and Dyersburg Dave. This guy decided to call himself Chattanooga Chester. This call was in response to the "long" running MLND series called "Scott Link Is A Moron". Chester agrees that he's a moron, in more ways that we could ever know. This download is only 1.4M of 128k mono mp3 goodness. We think you'll think it's worth the weight!

Dave's Technical Inability. We've titled this one by this name because of the fun that ensues when Dave was allowed to run the controls. Dave is shutting everything off (don't ask why) when he puts a caller on the air. The caller, you guessed it, said a dirty word. Because we're not church going people (the paragraph up above was written by Evil RIMBoy) we left the dirty word in. Of course, because Dave has been screwing around, it makes for Hi-Larious comedy. This clip features the staple Miles Longer and Naked Dave Smyrna sponsor and the standard disclaimer. This download is only 1.1M of 128k mono mp3 goodness. We think you'll think it's worth the weight!

Elsucko. We join this otherwise boring call midway thru (went it actually starts getting interesting). Scott states that he never watched MTSU Channel 8. Of course, he never watched it because he was always on it! However, Dave and Matt get ahold of some records and bleedthru ensues. This download is only 2.7M of 128k mono mp3 goodness. We think you'll think it's worth the weight!

Grundy Gus and Koko announce their intentions. This call quite possibly is the greatest Grundy Gus and Koko call in MLND history. Skynard is comin! This download is only 6.4M of 128k mono mp3 goodness. We think you'll think it's worth the weight!

Macbeth. This caller provides the plot summary of MacBeth, but in a way that only MLND callers can. Of course, Scott (Miles Longer) was in both MacBeth and the person in question on TV. Scott routinely dressed as Frankenfurter from The Rocky Horror Picture Show. And of course, he did it on MTSU's Channel 8. This download is only 4.4M of 128k mono mp3 goodness. We think you'll think it's worth the weight!

Get Off the Phone!. When you run a live call in talk show, you never know who's going to call. Or who's going to need the phone. This download is only 1.1M of 128k mono mp3 goodness. We think you'll think it's worth the weight!

Pepe's Getting Married. Pepe announces he's getting married. But to who it is he won't say. This download is only 322k of 128k mono mp3 goodness. We think you'll think it's worth the weight!

Pepe's Getting Married to Steven. Pepe calls back. Of course, he finds another reason to be hung up on. This download is only 732k of 128k mono mp3 goodness. We think you'll think it's worth the weight!

Scott Link is a Moron. Of course, there were those serious times on the show. This was one of them. It's hear because it's pure Scott Pejaver (Miles Longer) in action. Scott Link was a columnist at MTSU's student newspaper who wrote a series of conservative christian angled columns that lit a fire with Miles. Miles proceeds to take Scott Link's column and destroy it live on the air. This download is only 3.3M of 128k mono mp3 goodness. We think you'll think it's worth the weight!

Will Petersen gets hit by a bike. When you run a free form talk show, callers are free to talk about whatever they want. Will Petersen (of The Creep Show fame) called in to announce he was hit while riding his bike. This download is only 2.0M of 128k mono mp3 goodness. We think you'll think it's worth the weight!

Will Mekstroff calls in (again). When it was not Pepe caling in, it was usually Will Mekstroff (another one from The Creep Show) calling in. We join our program in progress with Miles commenting about work Matt had done to the station. Will calls in to talk about nothing (at least it was not a Jerky Boys type call). He of course manages to work The Creep Show into the call. This download is only 3.2M of 128k mono mp3 goodness. We think you'll think it's worth the weight!
